Join us for the 35th Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade for a very special Pumpkin surprise – and trust us, it’s big.

🕐 Sunday, October 19th from 1–4pm

📍 Tompkins Square Park | 6th Street between Avenue B and C

With thousands of dogs in costume, this legendary East Village event is more than a parade. It’s the Met Gala of the canine community, a day filled with holiday magic – and adorable pups dressed as chefs, Labubus, princesses, lions, and Timothée Chalamet courtside at the Knicks.

Can you guess what’s brewing in the Pumpkin booth?

Here’s a hint. Pumpkin’s most protected breed is getting an epic Halloween glow-up, and beware: this pup might squash the competition.

Visit us for Halloween treats

Stop by the Pumpkin booth for a professional photo-op with your dog and the parade’s (unofficial) headliner. We’ll email the pic after the event, so you can show off their Halloween spirit. Plus, pick up some free treats for your pup.

Protect your pet from real Halloween scares

Halloween is fun for us, but it’s full of dangers for dogs and cats. Here are some of the risks, based on Pumpkin insurance claims data.

Toxic ingestion from chocolate, alcohol, and baked goods with xylitol

Swallowed objects like costume accessories, candy wrappers, and holiday decor

Burns related to hot lanterns and jack-o’-lanterns with real candles inside

Orthopedic injuries like CCLs and leg fractures, if they run from ghosts and ghouls

Open doors for trick-or-treating can be tempting, so make sure their microchip data is updated.

And remember: this is just the beginning! Lock in a pet insurance plan before the holiday season is in full swing. Have fun, stay safe – and Happy Halloween!
