Pumpkin Wellness Club Benefits Definitions
THIS IS NOT AN INSURANCE PRODUCT; SPROUT WELLNESS LLC (D/B/A “PUMPKIN WELLNESS CLUB”). IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PRODUCT AND ADMINISTRATION.
The following definitions apply to the Pumpkin Wellness Club program as described in the Customer Agreement and your Pumpkin Wellness Club Summary Page. Please refer to your Pumpkin Wellness Club Summary Page for the list of Benefits applicable to your plan. Except as required by law, we reserve the right to modify these definitions at any time and without notice.
Preventatives
Tick/Flea/Heartworm Prevention | A preventative medication or injectable prescribed by a licensed veterinarian to protect your pet against heartworm, tick and flea infestations, and intestinal parasites. Any preventative injectables must be administered by a licensed veterinary professional. |
Vaccines
Vaccinations | A dose of vaccine administered by a licensed veterinary professional to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases |
Wellness Exams
Wellness Exams | A routine physical examination by a licensed veterinarian to assess your pet’s overall health and wellness |
Wellness Diagnostic
Fecal Tests | A microscopic examination of your vet’s feces routinely performed by veterinarians to detect intestinal parasites |
Routine Bloodwork | Standard wellness screenings administered by a licensed veterinary professional to help assess the overall health of your pet and detect illnesses |
Wellness Services
Spay/Neuter Procedure | The spay (ovariohysterectomy or ovariectomy) or neuter (castration) surgical procedure for your pet performed by a licensed veterinarian |
Professional Dental Cleaning | A professional dental cleaning performed by a licensed veterinarian to help maintain the oral health of your pet and prevent dental disease. This cleaning does NOT include complex extractions or other treatments and procedures for pets with progressed stages of dental disease. |
Oral Health Products and Services | Oral health products and services currently accepted by the Veterinary Oral Health Council for effective plaque and tartar control when used as directed. These products and services include but are not necessarily limited to dental diet foods, dental chews, toothpaste and toothbrushes, and sealants. Oral health services must be performed by a licensed veterinarian. |
PawSupport 24/7 Pet Health Helpline | 24/7 pet health helpline where pet parents can connect to pet experts for advice related to their pet’s heath and well-being |
Grooming | A professional grooming service, including baths, coat and nail trims, deshedding, and more. |
